The Khalsa Credit Union will be constructing a new branch office building in the City of Vancouver. It will be a steel frame building of about 5000 square feet floor area on two storeys with no basement and on-grade parking at the rear.
We are looking for a builder who can provide fee-based Construction Management for this project including the expertise to handle the trades and guide the construction on budget and on time. The work will include managing full construction of a quality building including interior design, as well as coordinating the installation of equipment, furniture, signage and everything needed for a fully complete facility ready for occupancy.
An architect, interior designer and engineering consultants have already been retained. A Development Permit has been issued and a Building Permit has been applied for. The Construction Manager will assist and coordinate obtaining all other approvals. Construction should begin in the summer of 2018.
The CM should be a firm experienced and familiar with this type of project including preferably previous work on credit union/bank facilities. The CM should be able to provide reliable budgetary cost guidance, competitive pricing from reputable and reliable trades, as well as effective quality management of the project.
